Abia targets 7.5 million oil palm trees in 3yrs
Abia State Government intends to plant about 7.5 million oil palm trees in the next three years, in its ‘Return to Farm Programme”.
Uzo Azubike, commissioner for Agriculture, Abia State, who revealed this in Umuahia, the State capital explained also that the State plans to lay emphasis on organic farming with focus on commercial agriculture.
According to him, the idea is to plant crops that are acceptable globally.
