Buhari appoints new MD for National Inland Waterways Authority
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Boss Gida Mustapha, as the new Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority.
This was announced by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Babachir Lawal, in a press statement signed by the Director of Press, Bolaji Adebiyi.
The appointment is for a term of four (4) years in the first instance, though the President early this week, suspended the tenure policy in the Civil Service.
Mustapha who hails from Adamawa state was a former Deputy National Chairman of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), one of the parties that formed the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).
“Mustapha is a lawyer with extensive experience in both private and public sectors in management positions” the statement read in part.
