Buhari writes to National Assembly on his resumption after vacation

The Presidency Thursday announced the official resumption of President Muhammadu Buhari from his 6-day vacation.
This was announced by presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina in a statement, in Abuja.
Adesina had last Friday announced that the President who was attending an official function in London, would proceed on a short vacation from the 5th-10th of February.
The President he said, had written to the National Assembly stating that while he was on vacation, the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo will perform the functions of the President.
In the same line the President has also written to the National Assembly to inform them of his resumption.
“In compliance with Section 145 (1) of the Nigerian Constitution, President Buhari has sent a formal notice of his resumption to the Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
“President Buhari was on vacation from February 5th, 2016 to February 10th, 2016″ the statement read in part.
