CBN fails to lift naira despite intervention

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)  intervened with an undisclosed amount of dollar sales on Monday but failed to lift the naira currency, which fell 1.4 percent to close at 168.20 against the greenback, dealers said.

The unit closed at 165.90 naira against the dollar on Friday.
