Details of 100,000 terror suspects are leaked online
Nearly 100,000 people with suspected links to terrorism have been exposed after a highly sensitive database was leaked online.
Names, ages, dates of birth, locations and citizenship information feature in comprehensive records relating to 2.2 million individuals and entities that are believed to have ties to bribery, corruption, organised crime, money laundering and other illegal activity.
The database World-Check, which is owned by Thomson Reuters, is used by hundreds of government and financial institutions across the world to vet individuals and companies. It costs as much as £825,000 a year to use.
