Disgruntled Nigerians sabotaging fight against Boko Haram- Clergy

Disgruntled Nigerians have made it impossible for government to successfully arrest the menace of Boko Haram in the country, the prelate of Methodist Church, Samuel Chukwuemeka, said on Sunday.
This is even as he declared that the same disgruntled men and women continue to sabotage the efforts of government at recovering the Chibok girls.
Chukwuemeka stated this in his sermon at the Armed Forces Remembrance Day Church Service held at the Ecumenical Centre in Abuja, reading from Psalm 23, verse one.
According to him these disgruntled men and women have made themselves enemies of Nigeria and continue to sabotage every effort of government to bring peace in the North East of Nigeria.
He further disclosed that from the information gotten from the soldiers at the war front ninety five percent of those fighting the country are of Fulani and Kanuri origin. And the question remained why are they aggrieved and who are their sponsors?
“Arresting the menace of Boko Haram would have been possible but it has been impossible because of many disgruntled elements who are involved. These people who allow themselves to be compromised are within the political elite, some are within the armed forces and other institutions.
“These ‎disgruntled country men and women have made themselves enemies of Nigeria. These people ‎sabotage every effort of government to bring peace in the North East of Nigeria.
“Some shameless individuals and groups make such utterances and use grievous situation as a tool for politicking, blaming the government in power as doing nothing to solve the problem of insurgency. Who is deceiving who?
“I believe that Nigerians are wiser and our people know that it is sabotage that is making it impossible for our armed forces to recover the Chibok girls.
“But why should people wage war against their country? ‎Let me reveal to you this evening and at this important service at this juncture, that some of our soldiers because you know we Bishops we have impact in the society, we relate with soldiers and all manners of people. And some of the people at the war front have confided in us that apart from some machineries from Chad, Libya as well as Somalia, 95 percent of those fighting our country are of Fulani and Kanuri origin. And this takes me to the critical question. Why are they aggrieved? Two, who are their sponsors? Let me attempt to answer question one. They are aggrieved because they want power at all cost, they believe Nigeria belongs to them alone and they are born to rule while others follow. It is deceit.
“The second is that they want to Islamise Nigeria and build a parallel caliphate different from the one we know in Sokoto‎. This can never happen.
“The answer to number two: their sponsors are fellow disgruntled Nigerians who hate their fellow countrymen. They are building their skyscrapers in the hemisphere and have no foundations, their building must collapse”, he said.
In obvious reference to Reverend Father Mbaka, a Catholic priest in Enugu who had castigated President Goodluck Jonathan led government, the prelate assured that Boko Haram will be defeated.
“Be rest assured every problem has expiring date. We may not know solutions to these problems yet but let me prophesy without fees attached as some false priests around Enugu prophesied, Boko Haram will be defeated”, he said.
