Kogi guber: DPC expels candidate

Democratic People’s Congress (DPC) has expelled its governorship candidate for alleged anti-party activities.
The state working committee said that Hon. Philip Ezekiel Kolaoku engaged in anti-party activities on November 21 governorship election
that was declared inconclusive by the INEC.
A statement signed by the state chairman and secretary, Yusuf Nagari and Yahaya Dauda, respectively, said that the withdrawal of his membership status came at the heels of his anti-party activities in November.
The DPC also said it has equally notified INEC and Kogi State Commissioner of Police (CP) of the latest development and its decision.
The party also dissociated itself from support of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate to join in any suit in court to stop Saturday’s supplementary governorship election in Kogi State.
