NAF graduates ten student pilots, plans to acquire more training equipment

The Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Sadique Abubakar, has said the Nigerian Air Force has concluded arrangement with Pakistan to procure ten new Super Trainer Aircraft for training of student pilots.

He disclosed this during the graduation ceremony of ten student pilots from the 301 Flying Training School, Air Force Base in Kaduna state.

The Nigerian Air Force is steadily increasing the tempo of its various operations in the fight against terrorism and other related crimes across the country, he disclosed while maintaining that Boko Haram has been largely degraded to the extent that they can no longer carry out coordinated attacks on communities.
The Chief of Air Staff is optimistic that the acquisition of more Trainer Aircraft will enhance the quality of their training.
Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State and other dignitaries at the event commend the contribution of the Nigerian Air Force in enhancing the nation’s security.

The Chief of Air Staff also commissioned some newly completed residential quarters for officers and men with a view to making them live comfortably at the barracks.
