Nwoye emerges new Enugu deputy governor

Reverend Ralph Ifeanyichukwu Nwoye has emerged the new deputy governor of Enugu State.

Nwoye was nominated by Governor Sullivan Chime.

The Enugu State House of Assembly on Thursday approved his appointment following the impeachment of the erstwhile deputy governor, Sunday Onyebuchi.

Nwoye, who hails from Isiogbo Nara in Nkanu East Local Government Area, is from the same town with the impeached Onyebuchi.
He was also a former commissioner for environment in the administration of Governor Chimaroke Nnamani.

Until his appointment, Nwoye was the presiding bishop of Christ Ascension Church, Ugwuaji, Awkunanaw, Enugu.
