South Africa retail petrol price to fall 10 percent

The retail price of 95-grade petrol in South Africa will drop by 123 cents or almost 10 percent a litre from Wednesday, while wholesale diesel will decrease by just over 9 percent, the Department of Energy said on Friday.

Petrol will cost 11.24 rand ($1) a litre while the wholesale diesel price will be 10.27 rand in the main Gauteng inland region.
