UK opposition Labour leader Corbyn says he will not resign
Jeremy Corbyn, Britain’s opposition Labour Party Leader, on Tuesday in London said that he would not resign after Members of Parliament (MPs) in his party overwhelmingly passed a motion of no confidence in his leadership.
Report says a total of 172 Labour Member of Parliaments to support a motion of no confidence in Party leader Corbyn.
He had insisted that he was a democratically elected leader of Labour Party for a new kind of politics by 60 per cent of Labour members and supporters.
Corbyn said he would not betray the the electorates that voted him in by resigning.
He said the vote by MPs has no constitutional legitimacy.
