Samantha Gooden, MBA

Samantha has worked to develop brand and business strategy for several multi-nationals over the last 15 years. She believes in “paying it forward” so she takes her passion for “Start Ups”, and empowers teams with the knowledge that she has gained from her years of experience in advertising, marketing, branding, client management, project management and media channel optimization while working for multibillion dollar companies like Cable & Wireless Communications.

She conducts training workshops in marketing and leadership that further empower marketers to present at the boardroom level and  impact organizational success. She is an active board member of several corporate and non-profit organizations. When she is not running her consultancy, she enjoys an active lifestyle that includes riding bicycles, swimming in the Caribbean sea, epicurean exploration and making new friends.

Over these two days, Evadney & Samantha will share their knowledge and expertise with delegates. Each day will start with all delegates getting together for lecture style presentations from both trainers. Then participants will be separated into two groups to participate in workshop sessions, which will run concurrently after lunch.

On  day one, Group A will be trained in Public Relations with vivid practical exercises. Running simultaneously on Day 1, Group B will experience a scintillating session in Marketing for Impact. On Day 2, the groups will receive reverse training.

Public Relations

Public Relations is a powerful tool that differs from marketing and this session will give tools and tips for using public relations to maximise opportunities for media interest in business.  Through a number of practical exercises, each participant will be empowered with contemporary best practice in the development of a  Public Relations Campaign as well as the creation of a Media Action Plan. There will also be an opportunity to hear from prominent media outlets on what makes good stories, and how they can get their stories covered by those outlets.

Marketing For Impact

This session will give marketing and non-marketing roles a solid foundation in strategic marketing concepts and best practices as they explore ways to develop impactful campaigns for the local and global context. Through case discussions, presentations, and small group activities, Samantha will approach marketing from a strategic perspective and identify impactful integrated strategies that will take any organisation to the next level.

Return on Investment

Marketing and Public relations training can deliver significant business benefits. Training employees in modern advertising techniques, client and media relations, communication skills and marketing expertise helps boost sales and improve customer satisfaction. Delegates will acquire life long skills from experts that can be applied to day-to-day business management even at the highest level.
