ABC launches new On-line booking platform

ABC Transport Plc has launched its new website, which combines aesthetics and functionality. Designed to provide customers with the best possible user-friendly experience, the website comes with enhanced features such as an easy-to-use on-line booking platform, easier navigation, and improved functionality.
The move is aimed at making it much easier for customers to book their tickets and reserve seats online without having to visit ABC terminals, and to browse for updates on any of the company’s various services.
The website is enabled for mobile devices and includes direct links to popular routes, quick helpline, cargo and hospitality services. Speaking at the recently-concluded training of staff on the usage of the enhanced e-ticketing software, Jude Nneji, the Deputy Managing Director, ABC Transport Plc, stated that, “our new website is primarily designed to suit and drive customer’s convenience. It has overall usability desired which enables customers to book online and access our services.”
The e-ticketing platform is enabled for payment gateway options such as Interswitch (debit/credit cards) and Book-on-Hold (a feature which allows customers to hold their bookings and pay later at their bank of choice).
All a customer needs to do is visit the company’s website www.abctransport.com, and click on the online booking platform, fill in the blank spaces with the required information, select their preferred payment option, whether to pay immediately using their debit/credit cards or book-on-hold and pay later at a bank of their choice.
Meanwhile, ABC Transport’s Sprinter service has commenced full operations in Accra, Ghana early this month. This was due to the increasing demands for Sprinter service by customers along the West Coast of Africa.
The Sprinter service is designed to satisfy the needs of light travellers, small groups and tourists: passengers who like to travel light with little or no luggage, and this service operates medium-size fully air-conditioned buses. Unlike the typical midi-buses deployed by some road transport operators, ABC Sprinter buses are more spacious, with enough legroom necessary to reduce the strain on such long distance trips.
In addition, ABC Sprinter buses carry 14 passengers only and boast of neat, cozy interiors. With their compact sizes, the average bus is best suited to operate in challenging road conditions and finding a way through tricky hold-ups along that cross-border corridor.
The buses are equipped with speed governors enabling the drivers to avoid over-speeding, based on the strict standards for which ABC Transport is known.
ABC Transport Plc is Nigeria’s leading coach operator and the only road transport operator currently listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. ABC Transport provides haulage services for many companies, besides running third party warehousing at Katamkpe, Abuja and the City Transit Inn, a budget hotel in Utako, Abuja.
