Chevrolet’s Silverado Toughnology uConcept goes official
The new Silverado Toughnology Concept has been officially introduced by the North American based automaker Chevrolet.
This may probably make no sense in European eyes but to truck fanatics living over-seas, it is probably “the bomb” and they have already decorated their garage doors with printed official images. The model in question is using high-strength steel and it has a unique paint job which we would call a matte grey, but Chevy says that it is mimicking unpainted steel.
The one-off vehicle is also getting a black hood, body side graphics, a mesh grille insert, tubular side steps, tinted headlights, extended fender flares and 22-inch alloy wheels.
The one-off Pickup truck doesn’t appear to have any changes made to its interior design but this is coming with a rear-seat entertainment system, heated seats wrapped in leather, an inductive smartphone charger, OnStar 4G LTE with Wi-Fi hotspot and so on.
Power is being provided by a 5.3 liter V8 engine, equipped with a “performance” air intake and with a sports exhaust system, producing 355 HP (265 kW) and 519 Nm (383 lb-ft) of torque. It is unknown at the moment whether the company will offer a special edition of the Silverado based on the one-off vehicle.
