Nigeria-assembled Kia Sorento unveiled in Lagos

Kia Motors Nigeria has launched the all new 2015 locally-coupled-in-Nigeria Kia Sorento, thereby delivering on its promise to locally produce Kia vehicles in the country. The media reveal was held last week at the just concluded Lagos Motorfair inside the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The all-new Sorento, revealed overseas for the first time at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October, has continued to reel in different awards globally for its outstanding and iconic automotive technology which include the prestigious iF product design and red dot Award 2015. For over a decade now, Kia has continued to make efforts in offering one of the finest of cutting-edge automotive technology.
The Kia Sorento unites the classic poise of an SUV with a premium look and feel that is particularly tangible in the cabin and offers the very highest design quality and excellent value for money. It is redesigned with a sleeker, more sculpted exterior.
Furthermore, it exudes sophistication with an edge, has wider stance and longer wheelbase for even more versatile cabin space with available seating for up to seven. The Sorento is one highly stylized, modern utility vehicle with improved handling and dynamic power.
With the available Dynamax All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) system, the Sorento delivers a smooth, refined drive even on rough roads. It presents two engine trims to fully customize your experience. Both systems are activated as soon as the car’s sensors detect a loss in traction, helping the driver to remain safely in control of the vehicle.
