Participants swell ranks ahead Lagos Motorfair
‘’The beauty of trade shows is that they take organisations beyond their supposed dreams and into realities. This they do by taking participants to higher levels by consistently keeping them [the exhibitors] in the minds of their target audience.’’
That was how Ifeanyi Agwu, chairman, organizing committee and managing director BKG Exhibitions, summarized the coming 10th Lagos Motor Fair and 4th Autoparts Expo Nigeria holding from April 30 to May 6, 2015 at Federal Palace Hotel, V/Island, Lagos. The event has become a ritual for local and foreign firms in the auto business, with more firms indicating interest.
Ifeanyi Agwu claimed that over 45 local firms have confirmed participation while targeted 80 foreign firms from all parts of the world will gather at the Federal Palace Hotel V/Island, Lagos venue of the event with different world-class products and services from their stables. .
He stated that all the automobile brands, spare parts, accessories, lubricants, banking, insurance, regulatory and policy making agencies and bodies are taking part. The managing director pointed out that the growing number of confirmed exhibitors can be attributed to the importance participants attached to it.
“We cannot but attribute the increasing number of participants for the show to the importance attached to it by all industry stakeholders who have been hardworking and consistent with us. It has been a collective effort and all hands have continually been on deck, starting from the private sector to the various agencies of government both at the state and federal levels.”
The campaign slogan of “Served hot and Fresh”; is to articulate the platform provided by the expo aimed at bringing all relevant stakeholders to a point where we can all forge a future for the growing sector despite daunting challenges faced the sector.
Over a decade, the event has played the role of a unique forum to access and assess the capacities and potentials of the nations’ automotive sector; for which Nigerians get this information hot and fresh mainly at the Lagos Motor Fair.
It is a pillar of the future strategic goals for the automotive and other allied sectors. The sub-theme “One Venue”, also stresses the importance attached to the ambience which will host this World Class Expo. It goes a long way to show that it has been carefully chosen to ensure convenience and class for both the visitors and the exhibitors.
He remarked that “the chef can only serve this special menu at one venue and that is the 10th Lagos Motorfair/4th Autoparts Expo. BKG said that over 10,000 expected visitors will be exposed to making contacts for businesses, friendship, partnership and increased sales.”
