Richbon seals construction equipment franchise

Another milestone in the annals of construction equipment franchise business in Nigeria was recorded last week Nigeria’s commercial capital when Richbon Group, one of the frontline automobile marketing dealerships in the country formally unveiled the XGMA range of construction equipment inside its corporate headquarters in Lagos.

Among the range of products launched before a quality modest crowd by Richbon Group, are the XGMA brand of excavators, motor graders, vibratory rollers, forklifts, bulldozers and wheel loaders. The machines come with Perkins, Cummins and Isuzu turbo charged and intercooled engines that are fuel efficient with low-emission engines that meeting with Euro 11 standard. The machines are also equipped with German ZF high efficiency transmission system.

According to Cajetan Muonagolu, chairman and chief executive of Richbon Group, the brand is budget friendly, energy saving, user friendly, luxury and rugged. It is also most useful and coming at a time when federal, state and local government contractors are paying so much to acquire used and imported construction equipment without an assurance of quality performance.

He disclose that his company has found a rewarding partnership with the Xiamen XGMA machinery Company Limited of China, manufacturers of the famous XGMA machines that is ranked among the top global construction machinery companies in the world and it is currently ranked as one of the Asia’s most valuable brands.

The company chief said that the XGMA centre under construction in Lagos would accommodate an ultra modern service centre and retain shop for all the spare parts for the XGMA even as it intends to appoint distributors in the geo-political regions in the country,” he reiterated.

On his part, Kelvin Huang, managing director XGMA said the machines are quite easy to operate and works for various purposes, are stable and could overcome weather conditions, both hot and cold.

According to Kelvin, “We provide good quality products to attract customers and give adequate delivery of spare parts. We ensure maintenance and punctuality.”

He declared that the company intends to create more job opportunities in Nigeria as they will continually train Richbon employees to be able to handle the company even when they are out of the country, adding that this will bring about development in the country.

“I call on the people in the construction industry to avail themselves of the opportunity of using of using brand new vehicles that are almost the same price with the fairly used one,” Ben Emeka, CEO, New Idea Construction Ltd, said at the launch.
