Undergraduate wins GTBank’s N7m Mini Cooper
The latest Mini Cooper, one of the world’s most stunning compact cars valued at N7 million, based on market research, has been won by a Lagos-based undergraduate at the end of a special educational promotional campaign by GTBank.
In the grand finale of the GTCrea8 mini cooper promo – Season 2, Adebiyi Mariam Ajoke, a year-two student of Business Administration, Lagos State Polytechnic, emerged winner of the star prize of a brand new Mini Cooper. The car is a stylish fun-to-drive subcompact coupe with an efficient, boxy front-wheel-drive layout.
The GTCrea8 mini cooper promo also rewards undergraduates from different Nigerian tertiary institutions with scholarship monthly. This is in line with the bank’s decision to support education and financial discipline.
The original Mini was a British-made ultra-compact hatch revered for its ability to be tossed around twisty roads while still offering practical cabin space, thanks to clever packaging. After an astonishing 40-year production run, BMW took over and reintroduced the Mini for the modern era.
Though it had grown, the new Mini retained the core attributes that made the original so desirable; fun driving dynamics, usable space in the cabin, and peculiar design inside and out. Stylish and fun loving students will certainly find the Mini Cooper highly desirable.
Similarly, Shalom Elisha Wigwe, a 400-level Medical student of the University of Lagos, was the proud winner of the Mini Cooper car in the Season 1 of the promo. A 200-level student of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Mohammed Yisa, was also rewarded with N1 million worth of scholarship for being the five millionth customer of the bank.
The GTCrea8 account allows students conveniently carry out all their banking activities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from anywhere in the world, without having to step into a banking hall. The essence of the promo is to promote a healthy saving culture and an increased adoption of the use of alternate banking channels amongst Nigeria students.
The Bank also organizes campus storms in various tertiary institutions across the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria, where students stand the chance of winning Nokia phones and other prizes instantly.
All that is required to participate and benefit from this bonanza, is for undergraduates in tertiary institutions to open a GTCrea8 e-savers account and conduct a minimum of three transactions on alternate banking channels such as ATM, POS and Internet Banking monthly to qualify for the draws.
In addition to the above criteria, students must maintain a minimum account balance of N5,000 for six consecutive months to be eligible for the star prize. The star prize winner will be selected by a raffle draw at the end of the promo season.
GTBank has created a microsite; www.gtcrea8.com for ongoing conversation for its e-savers customers. The bank also has a versatile social media presence to continuously appeal to this burgeoning section of its market on Facebook, where students can also open a GTCrea8 E-Savers account using Social Banking on Facebook.
