An evening of music, dance

Up-class music event held at Medici Villa, Festival Road, last week, was a spectacular event as music lovers were thrilled by a different experience. From a rare dimension of music in the Nigerian industry, the artiste used a band, not the usual lip singing, as we usually get to see.

Etisalat Cloud 9 Events in collaboration with Henessey as the sponsor of the evening was a wonderful experience for the young and old, as both artistes that performed that night were from the young and old generations.

Fast rising upcoming star Shey Shay was in full spirit as she carried the crowd along in her performance. A beautiful performance was put up by the new Diva on the block as she sang her hit track ‘Irawo’ and some of her other favourite songs too.

The show had a great turn around when Sir Shina Peters took hold of the microphone, as his fans and music lovers were all in the house. The event was mostly populated by people from thirties upward, so they related more with his songs as they all sang along and recited some parts when necessary. Everybody took to the dance floor as the band played from one hit track to the other.

Shina Peters and Shey Shay also performed together to one of his songs as she sang along, the performance was a lovely one as they both performed tremendously by bring smiles to guests’ faces as they could not help but dance and cheer in excitement.
