According to Mbajiaku, “As mothers, we feel the pain of what the child and the mother who is not with the child will be going through, so we thought it wise to use this forum to pray for the girls and insist that these menace should stop.
She noted that the Muslims and the Christians have come together to agitate for this. This only show that we are one Nigeria, and people that course this menace are not narrowed down to a particular religion but people who are trying to perpetuate evil in the society.
Abd Rasheed Akinyemi, President of the Muslim Brothers Group said there is a huge difference between Islamic and Islamist, adding the Muslims are Islamic and are not terrorists.
Akinyemi noted that the Muslims forbid the drinking of blood and the killing of Christians, the Boko Haram enslaves humans but the Muslims forbid this.
According to him: “Good Muslims go through all the due processes required in getting married a woman and do not forbid Western education. Muslims are lover of peace and we pray that peace and unity will come back to Nigeria.”
