Grover medical lifestyle clinic collaborates with Artemis hospital, opens in Lagos
Grover medical lifestyle clinic has been opened in Lagos. The event took place recently and was graced by distinguished personalities.
Grover Medical’s Lifestyle Clinic, is an Indian venture in Lagos, in collaboration with Artemis Hospitals, Gurgaon and it is a special purposed vehicle to drive the campaign and necessity for preventive health through effective lifestyle modification and clinical management.
The Medical Director of the clinic, Arvinder Grover, a medical practitioner, co-owns the project with her husband Anil Grover and has been in Nigeria for over two decades.
The need for the clinic as revealed to the public by the duo is a joint effort to relieve Africans from the burden of various lifestyle diseases, which has been responsible for low lifespan expectancy currently being experienced among the young African population, especially Nigerians.
“Grover Medical’s Lifestyle Clinic has been established as a special purposed vehicle to drive the campaign and necessity for preventive health through effective lifestyle modification & clinical management. Highly qualified Nigerian and expatriate medical consultants manage the clinic across various fields of preventive and curative medicine. The Vision is to become the 1st Choice Medical Institution in Nigeria for management of lifestyle diseases, while the mission is to enhance the health and wellbeing of Nigerians.” Arvinder said.
Artemis is a JCI and NABH accredited hospital that provides world class medical services to its clients and in order to foster on the vision and partnership with Grover medical lifestyle clinic, they pledged to send their specialists to enhance quality healthcare service delivery in Nigeria, which is in line with their efforts to reduce patients travelling abroad to seek medical treatment.
According to Anil Khetrapal, a medical practitioner and member of the Artemis Hospital India, “our partnership is with a long-term vision to strengthen the medical facilities available in Nigeria more so in the areas of cardiology, oncology, nephrology, endocrinology and bone marrow transplantation. For the large number of sickle cell patients suffering in West Africa, these patients would largely benefit from our facilities such as red cell exchange and bone marrow transplantation in the nearest future.
