Reddington Wellness launches lifescan medical check-up service
In a bid geared towards affordable health for all, The Reddington Hospital Lagos has slashed 25 percent discount for individuals and institutions alike interested in using its latest technology, the Lifescan medical check-up programme, till September 30, 2017.
This was disclosed in Lagos by Olutunde Lalude, group medical director of the hospital, during the official commissioning of the Lifescan Medical Checkup services, managed by the Reddington Wellness Centre.
The lifescan is a total body health screening service providing early detection of critical conditions and life threatening illnesses, especially in people with risk factors. It provides comprehensive screening to identify health problems before the symptoms are evident.
It uses advanced medical scanning technology including Nigeria’s first GE Signa Explorer Digital MRI at the Reddington, which has advanced capabilities to produce the highest quality images suitable for the purpose of Lifescan, Lalude said.
“The Lifescan full body, high quality, low dosage, digital imaging scan delivers another first for the Reddington Healthcare Group who have a history of being in the forefront of pioneering breakthroughs in healthcare in Nigeria,” Lalude said.
“We want to promote wellness as a better alternative to having to endure expensive and lengthy treatment options. Screening services can provide early warning of potential problems before they are evident, especially for those with risk factors.
“This simple, non-invasive and pain free screening includes diagnostic imaging of the head, brain, neck, chest, abdomen and pelvis,” he said, noting that each patient will get a report on the outcome of the screening along with any findings.
