SYNLAB Nigeria bags award on improved efficiency, medical tech investment

Improved service delivery, operational efficiency, and investment in state-of-the-art diagnostics has earned SYNLAB Nigeria the recognition of Best Laboratory of the Year from the Health Writers Association of Nigeria (HEWAN).

Delivering the award on Wednesday, Chioma Obinna, president of HEWAN disclosed the award process was rigorous. The choice of SYNLAB was made based on the clear transformation the company has made in the practice of medical diagnostics in Nigeria.

“Since 2004, we have remained faithful in ensuring the delivery of standard and quality laboratory diagnostics services to the people of Nigeria and beyond,” Soji Adetona, consultant pathologist who received the award on behalf of SYNLAB said.

Formerly known as PathCare Nigeria, SYNLAB currently operates in more than 35 countries across four continents. It also employs over 19,000 employees which contribute to the company’s success across geographies.
