Equity Assurance appoints divisional directors, promotes 49

Equity Assurance plc has announced the appointment of two Divisional Directors, promotion of 49 members of staff and salary increment for 38 members of staff.

According to the company, Adeleke Hassan was appointed director Business Development while Adaobi Nwakuche was named director, Commercial Business.

Adeleke Hassan, a seasoned Insurance professional and administrator with diverse experience spanning over two and half decades, joined Equity Assurance plc in 2003. He is a member of Society of Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, London and also an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria. He holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. An Alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School and Munich Re Insurance Training Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa. Adaobi Nwakuche is a dynamic and seasoned Insurance practitioner with the ability to achieve exceptional results; she joined Equity Assurance plc in 2013. She holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from ESUT Business School and an Alumnus of Lagos Business School. With over 15 years experience in the Insurance industry, she has set herself apart as a dynamic leader and a change agent with eyes for wealth creation, business expansion and generation of goodwill.

Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, EKpe Ukpabio stated that the exercise was carried out in line with the commitment of management to reward hard work and boost staff morale.
