RIMSON presents book on risk management

Risk Managers Society of Nigeria (RIMSON) has pushing for the entrenchment of risk management as key element in the survival effective management of government and enterprises. The issue is being advanced in the book “Risk Management and other Professions” which is billed to debut in Lagos onOctober 5, 2016. Venue is the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Kofo Abayomi.

Mike Udonquak of the Risk Managers Society of Nigeria (RIMSON), disclosed that the author, Jacob Adeosun, an engineer wrote the book in view of the need to further underscore the place of risk management in corporate institutions, as well as a prudential strategy for government in and out of   economic recession.

The book presentation, which would attract the crème of the risk management profession and other critical stakeholders in the nation’s economy would have the Director General of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), SegunAjayi-Kadri as the Chief Presenter, while the Executive Vice Chairman of Insurance Brokers of Nigeria Ltd, Chief Prosper Okpue would be the Chairman. It is expected that the Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode would be the Special Guest of Honour.
