Ambode names new board for Lagos security trust fund

 

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State has appointed Oye Hassan-Odukale as the new chairman of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) board of trustees, a statement signed by Tunji Bello, the secretary to the state government, said on Tuesday.

Also appointed the new executive secretary of LSSTF, according to the statement, is Abdulrasak Balogun, following the resignation of Fola Arthur-Worrey.

Balogun is a former deputy majority leader in the Lagos State House of Assembly.

The statement said that the governor also appointed other members of the board of trustees of the LSSTF. They are Herbert Wigwe, managing director of Access Bank; Philips Oduoza, managing director of United Bank for Africa (UBA); Yemi Idowu, Opeyemi Agbaje and Israel Ajao, a retired deputy inspector general of police.

Others are Gbolahan Lawal, the state commissioner for housing, and Ademola Abass, the special adviser, Office of Overseas Affairs and Investment.
