The foreign journalists were led by Sabine Bohland, chief of bureau of the organisation to Africa, Nwakaudu, who led the German journalists on the project tour stated.
It was not made clear why the choice of the German media, but the governor’s aide said the team visited the NPA-Industry Road, UTC Junction, Borikiri roads, Nkpogu-NLNG Bridge, Woji-Akpajo link Road/Bridge, Diobu roads and the Law Faculty of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology.
Speaking after the project tour, Nwakaudu said the visit by the international media practitioners brought to the fore the outstanding achievements of Governor Wike, despite dwindling resources to the state.
He noted that Governor Wike continued to judiciously use state resources to improve the economy of the State through massive construction works that have created employment opportunities for the people of the state.
The media aide noted that despite the negative propaganda being sponsored by the opposition, Governor Wike had continued to transform the state in a safe and secure environment.
