Ikpeazu donates cars to Abia T. C chairmen

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has given out brand new Hyundai cars to the transition committee chairmen of the 17 LGAs in the state as official vehicles to help them discharge their duties effectively.

While handing over the vehicles to the chairmen at the Government House, Umuahia, the governor said the gesture was to appreciate the hard-work and commitment of the TC chairmen in the discharge of their duties.

He charged them as foot soldiers to continue to serve with diligence, loyalty, honesty and comportment in order to bring commendation to the state.

Ikpeazu, who stressed the need for prudent management of available resources in view of the current paucity of funds in the country, urged the chairmen to continue to serve creditably as well as to represent the state and ensure the happiness of their people at all times.

Ginger Onwusibe, the ALGON chairman in the state, while receiving the keys to the vehicles, thanked the governor for the gesture and pledged their support and loyalty to the government.
