Six JS students win Total Nigeria PLC’s scholarship

Total Nigeria PLC placed a selection examination in view of its Scholarship Scheme for Koko indigenes. This took place at the Iwere College Hall,
Koko. Ninety-four first year Junior Secondary students from six Schools in Koko participated in the scholarship exercise. The schools involved were Iwere College, Fountain Secondary School, Christ the Saviour Secondary School, Christian World Secondary School, Beach Secondary School and St. Michael’s Hall Secondary School.

The examination comprised Mathematics, English and General Knowledge questions set and moderated by external examination consultants.  Assessment was done immediately after the exams with technical assistance provided by Teachers and National Youth Service Corps members of the
community.

Present to witness and participate in the process from the Koko community are some members of the Koko Community Management Authority  KCMA) Education subcommittee Samson Edun, Omajuwa Eyito and Eyide Michael.
