Wike kicks off second year with projects inspection
Governor Nyesom Wike, savouring commendations from the Rivers State House of Assembly and other notable Rivers citizens, has said he would step up the tempo of projects delivery in his second year in office, which he said he had already begun.
The governor started his second year in office with inspection of some ongoing projects.
A statement by Simeon Nwakaudu, special assistant to the Governor on Electronic Media, informed that Wike inspected ongoing work at the NBA ultra-modern Law Centre in Port Harcourt; the remodelling of the Port Harcourt Civic Centre, and the Federal High Court annex being built by the state government.
He urged the contractors to maintain the tempo of work to ensure that they delivered the projects on schedule, and in line with the approved specifications.
He stated that the state government would continue to fund all critical projects state, pointing out that no project would be abandoned.
