CJN cites J-K Gadzama & Co. as exemplary

Following the Silver Jubilee of the law firm of J-K Gadzama and Co., and the inauguration of the firm’s Corporate Office in Abuja (Pictured), the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Mahmud Mohammed has commended the law firm for its exemplary practices and humane gesture towards younger practitioners.

The CJN who was present at the inauguration spoke approvingly about the firm’s mentoring programme for law students, young lawyers and new wigs in general (old or young).

Urging other law firms to emulate the gesture, he said: “I wish to note with respect the commitment of J-K Gadzama LLP to the improvement of the quality of legal practitioners through its mentoring programme.

“Although not a new initiative, it has doubtless become a gold standard in the type of positive improvement that firms can and must make to the lives of our young legal practitioners.

He expressed hope that the firm would continue in its noble tradition of taking on more law school students and younger lawyers in a bid to provide them with pupillage and direction.

“Given the sheer size and area of the building, I have no doubt that it can,” the CJN said.

The official commissioning and inauguration of the firm was attended by several dignitaries within and outside  the legal profession
