NBA partners with UNECA to support capacity building for young lawyers

In furtherance to the “Public Interest” programme encapsulated in the “3Rs-P” Agenda of the vision for #ABraveNewBar and in fulfillment of the mandate to ensure a world class conference and participation by Young Lawyers, the Technical Committee on Conference Planning (TCCP) of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has announced the partnership with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) to sponsor 25 (Twenty-Five) members of the Young Lawyers Forum (YLF) comprising 20 young lawyers from the North-East and 5 representatives of the of the Association of Lawyers with Disabilities in Nigeria (ALDIN).

This is part of the promise by the President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Abubakar Balarabe Mahmoud, OON, SAN to sponsor at least 100 young lawyers to participate in the conference. This sponsorship covers registration, transportation and accommodation.
