Perchstone & Graeys severs relationship with Eversheds
Nigerian Commercial law firm, Perchstone and Graeys (P&G) has announced the discontinuance of its Eversheds Africa Law Institute (EALI) Membership.
In a public statement, the firm which has been a member of the EALI since 2013 stated, “In accordance with our own internal practice of subjecting all our relationships, business and otherwise, to a periodic review, the resulting consensus was to cease our membership with EALI, from October 1, 2015.”
The firm however acknowledged the relationship that has existed between the parties in the last two years and expressed its appreciation for the benefits of the training and knowledge share purposes for which the institute was set up.
Speaking about this development, firm partner, Kunle Ajagbe explained that notwithstanding the termination of P&G’s membership, the firm hopes to maintain a cordial relationship with Eversheds.
“We remain committed to providing services to all our friendly associate firms,” he said
He once again expressed the firm’s gratitude to the Eversheds team and wished all EALI members the best in all future endeavours.
An initiative of a leading international law firm called Eversheds, EALI was launched in October 2013 as part of the new Eversheds’ Pan-African strategy. The EALI network has 38 member firms in 36 countries across Africa – all of which have access to training and knowledge sharing programmes while fostering commercial opportunities on a regional and international basis.
