SBL Employment and Industrial Relations Committee holds business forum in Lagos
The Employment and Industrial Relations Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL) recently held its maiden Business Support Forum on at the offices of Aluko and Oyebode in Ikoyi, Lagos.
The event attended by Employment & Industrial Relations lawyers, Human Resource Practitioners and the business community was aimed at sensitising in-house counsel, external lawyers and other stakeholders in labour related matters about topical issues and challenges in Employment and Industrial Relations.
Delegates were given varying a better understanding of the sector, as well as insights to obvious and also hidden opportunities, which they can exploit for maximum benefits.
The EIR Committee was created to positively influence legislation and policies in this ever-evolving area of law; to deepen the capacity of lawyers (in-house and external) in providing legal services on matters relating to employment and industrial relations.
