Eagle Packaging Printing buoyed by blue-chips patronage
Eagle Packaging Printing has remained solid in the country’s packaging industry as blue-chips keep swooping on its products, 32 years after its formation. Currently, blue-chips such as Nigerian Breweries, Consolidated Breweries, Nestlé, Unilever, UAC, Garment Care, among others, are its clients, information by the company has shown.
Eagle Packaging is a subsidiary of Oasis Group, which also has Oasis Plastics, Oasis Savings, Aade Industrial, among others, as its divisions.
As one of the foremost packaging companies in Nigeria, established in 1982, the firm produces labels for drinks, shopping bags, shrinks wraps, stretch films, food and drink sachets, bags, among others.
“The company uses state-of-the-art machines to produce quality products that exceed customers expectations,” says the firm, which was formed by Samuel Adegbite, who also serves as chairman.
According to Adegbite, what is now known as the Oasis Group began in 1981, with the formation of Eagle Package Printing Limited, a packaging company located at Ota, Ogun State, adding that as industrial age competition is shifting to information age competition, the task ahead of the group is to ensure that value is being added in all its businesses.
“We should identify ways in which our associated companies can be helped to achieve major improvement in performance and focus effort and investment in areas in which we have demonstrable skills and competence,’’ he said.
