Emos Best Industries partners Amarath, Almod on R&D

Despite an array of challenges faced by local cosmetics makers, Emos Best Industries Limited still beats these odds, having partnered Amarath Cosmetics of South Korea and Almod Chemicals of England on research and development (R&D). This is aimed at ensuring that its products continue to meet both domestic and international standards.

This does not end here, as the firm also partners Prof. Dorigbogu, who is a United States consultant, and Friday Okei, the Nigerian technical director, Real Sector Watch has gathered.

Emos Best Industries, located at Upper New Market, Onitsha, Anambra State, manufactures air freshener, hair food, jelly, lotions and perfumes. The firm has Lemon Fresh (Rose) in its air freshener category; Acro Fresh and Software Hair Vitamins in the hair food category, and African Baby Care and African Pure Perfumed Jelly (blue and big) in the jelly class.

Similarly, its lotions category has Lemon Fresh Body Lotion (Skin Treatment and Maxi Tone), while the perfumes division includes Empire Club Eau De Parfum, Empire De Executive, among others. There are also the Lemon Fresh Bath (Herbal), Lemon Fresh Bath (Mixed Fruits), and Lemon Fresh Bath (Musk) in the shower bath class.

Emmanuel Chukwuezugo Obiora, chairman/CEO of the firm, says the company’s production history has remained consistent in delivering genuine products and services to its numerous customers. He adds that the untold success of the company is dependent on partnership with God, achieved through effective communication with foreign counterparts, distributors and esteemed customers.

“Notably, we have maintained same over the years through an improved manufacturing practice in a hygienic environment,’’ states the CEO, who is also a pastor, as he further solicits government intervention in incessant power outages and low voltage, high taxes, raw materials sourcing, poor infrastructure, among others.
