Epina Technologies to demonstrate raw materials use for ceramics making

Local ceramics makers and unemployed Nigerians who wish to learn the art of ceramics-making can now heave a sigh of relief as Epina Technologies prepares to tutor millions of Nigerians on how to use feldspar, tin, kaolin, iron, silica and quartz, among others, to produce table wares, wall and floor tiles, flower vases, spark plugs and sanitary wares, plates, among others.

This will take place between August 27 and 28, 2014, at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos. The event, which is the first International Ceramics Trade Fair in Nigeria, will provide ceramics makers and dealers the opportunity to showcase their products, reach the targeted audience, identify new customers and negotiate backward and forward business linkages. They can also meet potential partners and exchange experiences.

The fair is supported by the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) and a number of organisations, while participants will be made of local and foreign players.

“We have received confirmation for exhibition and attendance from several exhibitors from America, Britain, China, Germany, India, Spain, and South Africa, including the Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machinery for Ceramics (AIMAC), Seeramics Limited, Trinidad and Tobago, and West African Ceramics Limited,’’ said Patrick Eguakhide Oaikhinan, CEO, Epina Technologies Limited.
