Customer relations key for industry stakeholders

With customers’ remaining core in any business, a 3-day “Customer Centric Summit” was launched recently in Lagos to map out best practices in customer relations for industry stakeholders and business professionals in Nigeria.

Speaking at the event, Tori Abiola, managing director, Montgomery West Africa, said the conference was to mark the 7th ”Customer Care Week”, nationwide, adding that it was initiated to explore innovative strategies in designing and managing an evolving customer centred service in Nigeria.

Abiola stated that the project was aimed at supporting support business leaders and administrative professionals in delivering excellent customer service.

According to her, “a business exists mainly because of customers and clients alike. There needs to be a national platform for senior level decision makers within all sectors in Nigeria, to meet and to share best practices in delivering excellent customer services.

Abiola added that attendees had the opportunity to connect with global experts as they shared insights into strategies in developing the right customer experience, retention, competitiveness and future business growth.
