The security doors are constructed of two thick steel casings reinforced by steel bars and fixed to a steel frame, the range of high security doors which comes complete with our unique four-way locking system, affords maximum protection to your property.

Made to measure, and combining a high security steel core and beautiful wood paneling, the range of high security art doors is available in a wide range of designs and finishes. Doors can also be custom made to your own design and there are different types for you to buy depending on your choice and what you can afford for payment.

Timber doors

Timber doors are now seen as the focal point in the home. They are not just for security, traditional exterior timber doors are as good as PVC doors for security and probably more aesthetically pleasing.

There is a full range of exterior and interior timber doors at stores across the country, including doors in mahogany; in pine and oak, and also a new range of composite timber doors.

The argument that using timber doors will damage the planet has been considered fairly weak, as experts have said there is probably more damage caused by the manufacture of PVC doors, the growing of trees is now better organised than ever and virtually all lumbar companies realize they must have a strong re-forestation programme in place to secure their own future and that of the world’s population. Furniture makers have argued that the amount of timber used in timber doors is very small compared to other uses and in the main those companies constructing timber doors have been at the forefront of conservation and re-forestation projects.

Exterior timber doors add value to the home and not just keep you safe. The interesting thing about timber doors is that even when they have been fitted to a property for 100 years or more they can continue to function properly and when they don’t they can be added to, reduced in size and different locks or draught excluders added. The same cannot be said about PVC doors. However, when all said is done, a PVC door does not need any maintenance and on more modern properties for families who are too busy with their careers, they can be a better option.
