Dbs Media, AFOC sign MoU to showcase African-China trade opportunities

Dbs Media Limited, Nigerian creative media content agency, has entered into partnership with African Friends of China (AFOC) to produce documentaries that will highlight opportunities that exist in Africa and China and how these opportunities could be fully harnessed through genuine friendship, mutual understanding and trust.
This is part of its strategic drive to deepen socio-economic co-operations, technological and skill acquisitions and cement deeper friendship between African people and their Chinese counterparts.
African friends of China organisation believes that in the world order, Africa and China have a lot in common hence for deeper economic co-operation.
The relationship between the two bodies was formalized with signing of MoU last weekend and its also aimed at changing the perception of the people on products and services originating from both countries.
The video documentaries when produced would also highlight the benefits Africa-China friendship has offered to the continent and the nation of China.
Speaking on the partnership, Cletus Chukwuma, Managing Director, DBS Media said, the MoU is strategic as it intends to employ the power of visuals towards producing well researched documentaries (video/movie) that will highlight the developmental drives by Chinese government to Africa nations and her populace.
He said that the company which for over 16 years is driven by its core values of integrity and excellent customer service would contribute to the media content space of Nigeria and beyond based on the MoU with AFOC.
Fred C. Ogwazu, president of AFOC, said the choice of Dbs was based on its track records in movie production and the belief that it would help enhance quality and informative output materials in keeping with AFOC objectives.
AFOC objective is connecting investors to opportunities through the provision of timely information on developmental opportunities available in China and in the continent of Africa.
It is also advocating for the teaching of Chinese language in African schools and promotion of good ideas for indigenous African companies intending to partner with Chinese companies.
Speaking further on the MoU, Ogwazu said the organisation will among others highlight the benefits of African – China friendship has offered to the continent of Africa and the nation of China in short films across Nigeria, Egypt, Kenya, Ethiopia and South Africa.
