Fashola’s wife to unveil Core Media corporate office
Abimbola Fashola, wife of the Lagos State governor, will next week unveil the new corporate office of Core Media Services, an event management and media services outfit, which began operations in Lagos five years ago.
Jide Adediran, managing director/CEO of Core Media, said at a news conference in Ikeja on Monday that the twin-building located along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, beside Compass Newspaper, would be officially opened by the governor’s wife on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 to mark the fifth anniversary of the organisation.
According to him, the outfit’s movement to the new corporate office will reposition it to offer its clientele more excellent services that guarantee value for their money.
On expansion bid, Adediran said the outfit which began operations with a three-man team, has grown within the last five years of its existence- having presently in its employ 45 staff and trained over 132 young Nigerians who have passed through the organisation as interns.
He further hinted of the organisation’s plan in the near future to own and run a television station, which will be fully digital in operations.
“Our television station is coming soon, pretty soon,” Adediran said, adding that plans are also underway to delve into the social media world with fresh ideas. Core Media currently beams its programmes to Nigerians through LTV, DStv 129, TVC, MITV and GALAXY TV.
