Fero Mobile deepens Nigeria’s Smartphone market, launches research-driven product

Nigeria’s multibillion Naira Smartphone market has continued to remain attractive to global phone manufacturers, even after 17 years of introduction of GSM into the country.

Though overall Nigerian phone market, according to analysts declined by about 8 percent in 2016 due to economic recession but there are forecasts that the market will pick up again this year.

Recognising Nigeria as a key market in Africa, Fero Mobile, Dubai-based firm is expanding its footprint in Nigeria as it positions for more market share.

As one of the fastest growing smartphone brands in Nigeria, the firm recently made moves to consolidate its position with the introduction of  Pace 2 smartphone dubbed the ’Selfie Boss’ into the Nigerian market. The new device comes with a 13MegaPixel selfie camera and a 13MegaPixel rear camera that allow users capture and share great moments on the go.

The device sports a 5.5-inch HD display screen with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution that guarantees great colour performance and 75% less light reflection for excellent readability under sunlight.
