Firm pioneers architectural media
A Lagos based firm, Medife Media, has pioneered Africa’s first Advertising glass building technology, which enables buildings to be transformed into architectural media.
Speaking on the innovation in a statement, Medife Media’s CEO, Ifeanyi Asiodu, explained that “the advertising glass is the first LED display technology which offers up to 80% transparency that allows windows and building facades to be used as high impact visual display platforms while preserving the view from within the building.”
Asiodu, who had worked for Fingal Communications and Haymarket Media Group, London, added that “using this innovative technology makes it possible to bring windows, storefronts and building facades to life with stunning and eye-catching graphics, videos and animation to create spectacularly rich media content, which literally grabs and attracts attention from both short and long distances”.
He further disclosed that his firm had already showcased this unique technology on the GTB branch building on Awolowo road, Ikoyi, Lagos, adding that he was moved to “create world class media projects in Nigeria that the rest of the world can emulate”.
