Insight Communications emerges tops in creative works
Insight Communications, one of Africa’s creative agencies, has emerged overall winner at this year’s Lagos Advertising and Ideas Festival (LAIF) awards which took place in Lagos.
Tagged ‘It’s a Gr8 LAIF’, this year’s LAIF awards also doubled as the grand finale of the 40th anniversary of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria’s (AAAN) celebrations.
The company recorded an enviable feat and carted home a total number of 26 medals (4 Gold, 8 Silver and 14 Bronze) to emerge overall winner of the awards for the second year successively. It would be recalled that last year, the agency won 25 awards (4 Gold, 10 Silver and 11 Bronze) to beat other competing agencies.
“With this feat, our responsibility is to create more frontiers and raise the bar. The feeling for us is a call for a new order”, Sam Osunsoko, associate director, Account Management, said. “Not just for ourselves, but also for the benefit of the clients that we have been privileged to work with. Quite a number of clients’ brands we work for are flying high in the market”, he added.
Osunsoko also bared his mind on the strategy behind the company’s success over the years, saying, “We are the first marketing communications outfit to introduce the management traineeship programme in Nigeria. One of the reasons that was done is that we realised the role that culture plays in the reputation and consistency of achievements in a company.”
It is one thing to succeed in life, for you to consistently succeed, it is important to consistently protect the winning culture.”
