International Links Magazine debuts in Lagos

In line with its vision to connect people and businesses in the global economy, Links Publications, owner of The International Links Magazine, recently unveiled its median edition to the Nigerian community at an official launch held at the Muson Centre, Lagos. The theme of the event was “Nigerians: Let’s Do it Right!”

It was a gathering of the high and mighty in the land, investors, business moguls and industry icons as guests turned out from all over the nation to celebrate the effort from an enterprising organisation. The row-call of royal personalities included His Royal Majesty, the Alafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, who was ably represented by the daughter – Princess Arewa Shade Adeyemi and HRM, Oba S.A.A Oyefusi, and others.

According to the publisher/chairman, International Links Magazine, Niyi Dada, “for us as individuals or a nation to be successful, we must do what needs to be done. And until that time when Nigeria attains its position among the committee of great nations, Links International will continue to confront Nigerians, right from the Presidency to legislators, governors, local governments, all and sundry.” If you keep doing what you have always done, definitely you should expect to get what you have always got, Dada said.

The publisher also stressed the need for African folks in the Diaspora to look inwards, though it is obvious they find themselves in relatively the best places to live in terms of comforts and infrastructures. However it is important to note that Africa today is the best place to make or create wealth, because wealth is a function or reward for service and its only in Africa that the long acquired skills and experiences are important and valuably rewarded.
