MTN Link Forum train moves to Port Harcourt
Having successfully provided a platform for young professional to meet and interact with business icons in Enugu last month, the MTN Link Forum train moves to Port Harcourt this Friday.
This popular entrepreneurship platform that provides small and medium business owners opportunities to network their way to the top will be held at Atrium Hall, Stadium Road, Port Harcourt.
MTN Link Forum provides opportunities for small business owners to inte ract with and learn from the experiences of es2tablished business men. According to MTN General Manager, Consuming Marketing, Kola Oyeyemi, “so many young Nigerians want to start and grow their businesses but do not know how to go about it and those who try without proper knowledge end up experiencing losses. It is in recognition of this, that MTN created the Link Forum as a solution to address this challenge.”
At the Enugu leg of the forum, successful businessmen such as; Mr. Oguche Agudah, the Special Assistant to the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment; Mr. Izuroa Okafor, the CEO of Palmas Company Limited, Dr. Jonathan Doerr, the MD of Nigeria’s biggest online retailer, Jumia and many others shared from their wealth of knowledge and experience with over 250 young entrepreneurs in attendance.
Unlike previous episodes, this year’s MTN Link Forum will not only give young professionals and entrepreneurs a chance to meet and exchange ideas with selected industry captains, it also gives them a chance to participate in the Budding Entrepreneur Challenge and receive full sponsorship to the 2014 World Entrepreneurship Forum in Lyon, France. 4 winners of the challenge will also share N10 Million grant from MTN to expand their businesses.
MTN Link Forum is an interactive and engagement platform that is focused on advancing the aspirations of young budding entrepreneurs and professionals.
Besides Enugu and Port Harcourt, the MTN Link Forum will take place in Lagos and Abuja on July 18th and August 29th, respectively.
