MultiChoice moments and consumer compensation

MultiChoice, a  pay-TV provider on the DStv and GOtv platforms, has appreciated some of its customers  for the unwavering support the brand has received in the last 20 years. It unveiled names of second set of winners of various prizes in the on-going MultiChoice Nigeria 20th anniversary promo. The second draws were held at the SuperSport Studio, Billings Way, Oregun, Lagos, recently.

In the latest draws, Port-Harcourt-based Nduka Obiajulu won a return ticket for a couple to the National Basketball Association (NBA) games in the United States of America, while the duo of  Gbenga Olumilua and Wale Ogunsola each won return tickets for a couple to witness Wimbledon Tennis games live in 2014.  Nnaemeka Ejike won a cash prize of N200, 000. The winners were at the MultiChoice Nigeria office where they were presented their prizes

Chioma Afe, Marketing manager, DStv, expressed MultiChoice’s joy at rewarding more Nigerians who have contributed to the success of the brand through their loyalty over the years. “For 20 years, MultiChoice, through its DStv platform and recently GOtv, has been an entertaining brand. The brand has evolved over time and now caters to the need of every family member no matter their size, interest and economic spectrum”, Afe said.

Afe added that MultiChoice had successfully democratised pay-tv in the country by constantly lowering cost of acquiring and enjoying pay-tv services, and by offering premium quality programming and content at affordable prices.

Segun Fayose, head of Public Relations, MultiChoice Nigeria, congratulated the new set of winners and announced that winners from the last round of draws would also be unveiled to the press within a week

“The anniversary promo is a ‘thank-you’ promo for our subscribers who have stayed with us through thick and thin; and MultiChoice is not done yet as the company has a culture of giving back to its subscribers as a token of appreciation,” Fayose added.

The MultiChoice Nigeria 20th anniversary promo is expected to produce 10 couple winners of return tickets to five iconic events and holiday destinations.
