Myer stirs market with 8 fruit variants

Myer Industries Limited, a fast growing producer of fruit drinks in Kano, Northern Nigeria, has introduced Myer fruit juice into the Lagos market, Southern part of Nigeria, with an offering of eight variants.

Speaking at the official launch in Lagos, Myer Industries Limited sole distributor Lagos State, Aisha Funsho, said Myer as a family fruit drink aimed to provide quality and nutritional fruit drinks to health conscious Nigerians.

“The health conscious segment of the Nigerian population is growing rapidly and more Nigerians are in search of fruit juice that will improve their well being. They are now very conscious of what they eat and drink. Many now opt for less sugar, healthy drinks which Myer range of fruit juice are made essentially to offer,” Funsho said.

She commended Myer Industries for its decision to compete in the Southern market, saying there was a huge potential market for any fruit juice in the segment. She also stated that the product will embark on various marketing communication to promote the brand.

On the consistency of the brand, she said “we will not compromise quality because we only make products which are nutritious to consumers.”

The field marketing manager Myer Industries, Vera said she was positive that Southern consumers will appreciate Myer quality standard and the range of Myer fruit juice products.

The uniqueness of Myer fruit juice lies in the fact that it is made from 100 percent fruit, affordable and for all members of the family.
