Nigerian Bottling Company throws its PR pitch open

Nigerian Bottling Company, NBC has thrown its PR account pitch open.

Marketing communication industry source told BusinessDay that already, about 4 to 6 agencies are said to be contesting for the account.

The source said that it is not clear those agencies perfecting their documents for the job but further inquiry in the industry reveals that top Ikeja based firms are among the agencies on the race for the account.

The source fingered Brooks and Blake, Brand Believers, Indigo as among the possible agencies on the race for the job.

The source was also not sure whether XRL8 which has handled the NBC for about four years is also contesting.

When contacted, XRL8 simply said that “we are not participating in the pitch for undisclosed reasons”.
