Nigerian firm wins international recognition

A Nigerian ICT company, Hartford Green Consulting Limited, has won multiple international awards and recognitions, making it one of the elite ICT consulting firms in the world as well as the most performing SAP Partner in Nigeria

Adebayo Akinwunmi, managing partner of Hartford, who in a statement listed most of the company’s achievements in its 10 years of existence, said the company’s partnership with SAP (a globally Enterprise Software company) was a growing relationship.

Akinwunmi said his company was a proud winner of SAP EMEA Partner of Excellence Award in 2014 Q1 through its co-innovation with SAP.

According to him, the relationship between Hartford and SAP is “to help Nigeria with the solutions that we believe are in the best interest of the country and our economy.”

Going down memory lane, the managing partner/CEO said the priority for the company at inception was quality delivery to its customers. This he said the company committed resources to which today had yielded commendable results, hence the many awards, adding “we run projects in a way that will ensure first time delivery, so that we are not going back and forth with our customers.”

He said the company was recommended for the Active Quality Management (AQM) Partnership in 2013 and the process included evaluating “our projects and personnel certification.” This was a big thing for us because there were other SAP partners recommended for the exercise in West Africa, but Hartford was the only company that completed the accreditation exercise successfully in 2014 and still remained the only SAP AQM partner in West Africa today.

Consequent upon its excellent performance in delivering SAP solutions, the CEO said other SAP partners approach them to support their projects. Over and beyond that, because of the company’s quality of delivery and successful implementations in 2014, it won the SAP African Quality Partner for that year.

Akinwunmi said the awards were welcome developments for the personnel of the ICT company because “we all worked hard towards the success” and getting the prestigious African Award was very ecstatic for us all.

He, therefore, noted that everybody contributed toward making sure that “we are a quality organisation and we are all pleased to have attained that position.”

Akinwunmi said he was confident that things can only get better with service delivery, and confirmed that the company was putting in place processes that will ensure clients were duly serviced and projects delivered in manners that will make the difference to the end users.

To him,“we hope and look forward to other global and regional awards this year and beyond.”
